Accessibility statement
Last updated:
I want everyone to be able to use this site, including people with disabilities. It was built to meet the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA. The site targets the newer WCAG 2.2 at level AA.
What was done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- A “Skip to content” link as the first item on every page.
- Full keyboard use, with a clearly visible focus ring.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 in both the light and dark color schemes.
- Every page in English and Hebrew, with the correct language and reading direction set.
- Form fields with visible labels, and error messages that say how to fix the problem.
- Animation that respects the “reduce motion” setting, and no content that flashes.
- All text and numbers readable with JavaScript turned off.
- Automated accessibility tests (axe) on every change.
The site does not use an accessibility overlay widget: accessibility is built into the code.
Known limitations
- The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, an external service. If it is hard to use, book by WhatsApp, the contact form or phone instead.
