About Eden Gilady

Last updated:

I’m Eden Gilady, a full-stack developer from Israel. I build websites, web and mobile apps, and the automations that connect them to the tools a small business already uses, like WhatsApp, Google Sheets and a CRM. I work with small businesses and freelancers, in Hebrew and English.

I didn’t start out in code. I still work like a technician: find what’s actually broken, fix it properly, and check that it holds.

How I got here

  1. Combat tank technician

My army service, and where the habit of looking for what’s actually broken comes from.

  2. Mechanical engineering

I trained as a practical engineer: how machines are designed and how they work.

  3. UI/UX design

Planning screens that are clear and easy to use.

  4. Full-stack development

Building every layer, from the screen to the server.

  5. Today

A developer at a software company since 2025, and building projects for small businesses.

Where I work today

Since 2025 I’ve been a full-stack developer at a software company.

What I build

  • Websites and apps. Recently Kesher, a wedding planning platform for the Israeli market, and Krunchy, a recipe app that turns a link into a clean recipe with AI.
  • Automations. Leads, quotes and follow-ups that move between WhatsApp, spreadsheets and your CRM on their own, with every step logged so a failure never goes unnoticed.
  • CRM and lead management. One place for every inquiry, with reminders so no lead waits for a reply.

How I work

  • What’s included, in writing. Every project starts with a discovery call, and the price and the dates are written down before any work starts.
  • Weekly previews. You see the work on a live link every week, not at the end.
  • Built for Israel. Hebrew written natively, real right-to-left layouts, Israeli accessibility law (IS 5568) and privacy law (Amendment 13) built in.
  • You own it. The code and every account are yours, with documentation at handover.
  • Fast answers. I reply within 24 hours on business days.

Tools I use

Vue 3, React, Angular, Astro, Next.js, React Native with Expo, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and SCSS, Node.js, Supabase and Postgres, Firebase, Cloudflare, Vitest and Playwright, Sentry, Figma, Make, Cursor, and AI providers including Groq and Gemini.

Away from work

Retro games and emulators

I love old games, and sometimes build small tools around them, like an app that runs old Flash games on a phone.

Cooking and baking

I cook and bake at home, mostly rich yeast doughs. Like good code, they don’t like to be rushed.
